Travel Journal: Solo Utah Trip 2024
Day 1: Horseshoe Bend and Zion (3/11/24) Everyone told me this trip was a bad idea. "Are you sure that's a good idea?" or "That's dangerous, you know that, right?" They said I should wait until I could find people who could go. They said I should wait for a "better time." I had this same trip planned two years ago. Nobody could go then either. Maybe it wasn't the right time or maybe it was a money issue—or they simply did not want to. For me, I came to realize there is no "right time" to do anything. I decided to run on my own time instead of waiting for the stars to align for anyone else, so I planned to do this trip alone.
